Services: Technology & Internet
Internet Access
All branches of the Kent District Library offer computer workstations with Internet access. Internet users must enter an active library card number and PIN (Personal Identification Number) to access the Internet. Sessions are limited to 60 minutes per person, per day, except for our Internet Express terminals which are limited to 30 minutes of use. First-time users must read, and agree to abide by, the Library’s Acceptable Use Policy. The Internet is filtered for users under 18 years of age.
For those with laptop computers, our branches also offer both wired and wireless access. You can view wireless connectivity instructions here.
Printing & Copying Services
Our libraries offer self-service print and copy stations that allow you to print in both color and black & white. You must purchase a print card in order to do this ($1 fee). Your card can then be refilled an unlimited number of times and used at any one of our 18 branch locations.
